Nokia
To setup WAP and HTTP on your mobile phone,
all you need to do is click
here and visit the Nokia website.
The website asks you for simple details
such as your country, phone model, carrier
and your mobile phone number and delivers
the relevant connectivity settings to your
phone via text message(s).
- Standard Setup will deliver several
messages and Advanced Setup will deliver
1 message
- You may be provided with a security
pin on the nokia website which you will
need to keep handy
When you revceive the text message, you
should save the settings from your phone
menu. You may need to pick from a list
similar to the following. Please note
that any settings you select will replace
previous settings.
- VFNZ Internet (Vodaphone HTTP)
- yes Info WAP Plus (Optus WAP)
- Telstra.gprs (Telstra WAP)
- VFNZ Gateway (Vodafone WAP)
- Virgin WAP
- yes Info Internet (Optus HTTP)
- Telstra.internet (Telstra HTTP)
If prompted, enter the PIN you were given
earlier. Now activate the settings from
your phone menu and they will be ready for
use.
If the settings do not arrive within three
minutes, please try again . If you experience
further problems, please contact your network
operator.
